Employed!

Talk about job opportunities being like buses: after a bit of a dry spell, i ended up with 3 offers in one week (from interviews spread over 3 days).

I'm now two weeks into my new job at Llama Digital. Llama is tiny company, comprising of the founder Stephen Elliot and now +2 developers. Its size however is masked by its relationships with local synergistic companies, specifically Sugercane Studio with which we share an office. It's an interesting environment where companies feed off each other without treading on anyone's toes.

Steve's approach to web development is generally aligned with mine although i see healthy debate over the specifics being common place. Right now we're going through the tough process of bringing in two new developers into an existing code-base that has only been maintained by a single person previously. Things like CVS and good documentation suddenly get brought into sharp focus very quickly.

I think there's a lot that i can bring to the table with this company and hopefully we'll see the fruits of that with increased growth and efficiency in the near future.
